How Much Money Does Democrat Attorney Andrew Warren Make?

In Hillsborough County, Florida, he was chosen in November 2016 to serve as the Democratic state attorney for Florida’s 13th Judicial Circuit. He was re-elected in 2020. The Florida Office of the State Attorney makes about $74,644 a year, according to Glassdoor.

Republican and Florida political party backlash against Andrew Warren

Warren has drawn criticism for failing to enforce a number of Florida laws and for not collaborating with the police. He was also suspended for acting incompetently and with deliberate disregard for his obligations.

According to Fox News, the lawyer made numerous attempts to establish himself as a judge who would decide which laws should be upheld and which should not. His suspension is also due to issues with abortion rights, transition-related health care for transgender children, and policies that discourage the prosecution of some criminal offenses, to name a few.

Andrew tweeted back in response to Florida Governor Ron DeSantis’ action, saying that the political stunt was illegal overreach and part of a dangerous pattern of the governor using his position to advance his political aspirations. In addition, Susan Lopez, a current Hillsborough County Judge, was chosen to act as the state attorney.

The lawyer is a Brandeis University alumnus and has degrees from Columbia University in law and economics and political science. Prior to going on to conduct sophisticated criminal and civil litigation in Washington, D.C., and New York, he served as a clerk in a federal district court in San Francisco.

Warren spent the majority of his career as a federal prosecutor with the U.S. Department of Justice, where he prosecuted financial fraud across the nation. The lawyer has also given speeches and participated in panels about criminal justice both domestically and abroad. He has also taught at the national training center for the Justice Department.
